3. Susana Solano: Anonymous

Description: Susana Solano, a leading Spanish sculptor, uses materials in a unique way. Her work draws on historical references and spirituality. Discover how she finds emotional resonances from forms and materials.

4. Exhibition “The course of the events. An atlas of the Foto Colectania collection”.

Date: From January 18 to June 2, 2024
Description: Through about 160 works selected from its collection, the exhibition allows us to immerse ourselves in the photography taken during the second half of the twentieth century in the Iberian Peninsula. The chosen photographs include iconic images and photographic sequences, allowing the viewer to witness a double process of modernization: both in the photographic medium and in the societies of southern Europe. Among the 32 authors represented, we find great classics such as Leopoldo Pomés, Xavier Miserachs, Ramon Masats or Francisco Gómez, as well as photographers of later generations such as Pilar Aymerich, Manel Armengol, Cristina Garcia Rodero or Manolo Laguillo, and more recent generations such as Laia Abril, Cristina de Middel or Txema Salvans.

5. Federico Granell: Momentos detenidos

Where: Sala Parés
Date: Until March 30, 2024
Description: The exhibition “Momentos Detenidos” invites us to reflect on the ephemeral beauty of the everyday and the depth that resides in the places we often overlook. Through the paintings of Federico Granell, time stands still, and we immerse ourselves in the contemplation of those moments that define us as melancholic beings and tireless travelers.

6. Depeche Mode and Suzie Stapleton

Where: Palau Sant Jordi
Date: Saturday, March 16th
Description:Despite the obstacles in their way, Depeche Mode continues to shine on stage. After the departure of Andy Fletcher and their continuation as a duo, the band shows that their energy is intact. Their latest album, “Memento Mori” (2023), the first without the original bassist and keyboardist, is proof of their resilience.

7. Christina Rosenvinge: The Sapphic Verses

Where: Sala Paral-lel 62
Date: Thursday, March 14th
Description: The singer-songwriter Christina Rosenvinge will reinterpret Sappho on March 14 in Barcelona. Rosenvinge will perform at the Sala Paral-lel 62 in Barcelona presenting her new show accompanied by Amaia Miranda on guitar, Magalí Datzira on bass, keyboards and backing vocals and Xerach Peñate on drums …

8. Monumental Club 2024 FANGO

Where: Plaza Monumental de Barcelona
Date: Saturday, March 16th
Description: The second date of the year will be on March 16 and will be based on the nineties, with genres such as techno, rave culture, pop punk or alternative rock. The day starts with Eric Martin feat. Technotronic, with house and avant-garde music, but you can also see Hal9000 and the Argentinian Loli Zazou with exclusive sessions of the 90s. The live concert of the versatile artist Tina Massawi will be based on soul and R&B hits, unlike DJs Deloc & White who will do a set with more variety of registers and influences.

9. Manga Film Days

Where: Filmax Cinemas in Gran Via
Date: Sunday, March 17th
Description: Manga Film Days, apart, invites different creators and content creators of the anime community in Spain so you can meet them in person and listen to them in the different activities they will give. For example, at 10.30 am you can listen to the live podcast of ‘Les Lladres del Temps: Studio Ghibli Special’, at 11.30 am participate in the talk ‘Use the networks to boost your career’ that the cartoonist J.S. Linares gives and, at 3 pm, attend the conversation with Comic Pau, Drawill and David Alcalá Cerrada, ‘How to make your own comic’.

10. Immersive Experience: Art
