Global training and experiences
Trained in Oxford, Dalo Unique began his artistic journey in an academic environment that prepared him to explore both traditions and avant-garde movements. From his early years, he was drawn to sound and visual experimentation, and his training in this university city was key to developing a multidisciplinary approach that integrates artistic theory and practice in an organic way.
However, it was in London that his career began to take a decisive turn. The vibrant creative scene in the British capital, with its mix of cultures and styles, provided the perfect breeding ground for Dalo Unique to consolidate his own style. London, as a global centre for electronic music, contemporary art and technology, exerted a great influence on his work, taking his creations into an experimental terrain that challenges the conventions of both worlds: the musical and the visual.
Later, the Barcelona native moved to Shenzhen, a city that has become an epicentre of technological inno- vation and creative industries, especially in the field of digital art and NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Shenzhen’s influence is evident in its approach to technology as a natural extension of artistic creation. This city, known for its dynamism and advanced digital infrastructure, has been fundamental in Dalo Unique’s evolution as an NFT creator, allowing him to explore new ways to distribute and monetise his art.
Music, Technology and Visual Art: An Interdisciplinary Whole
Dalo Unique’s work cannot be understood without the intrinsic relationship between music, visual art and technology. His musical output, characterized by a fusion of electronic genres, is distinguished by its experimen- tation with futuristic sounds, complex textures and unconventional structures. Influenced by both avant-garde electronics and krautrock, ambient and digital experimentalism, Dalo has created a sonic proposition that
not only seeks to be heard, but also experienced. His compositions invite an immersive sonic journey that feels both emotional and intellectual.
