At a time when humanity faces an unprecedented transformation, young artist Laurenz Fruyt emerges on the contemporary art scene with a proposal as poetic as it is essential. His solo exhibition, “The Sacred Change: Visions of a New Earth,” invites us to look beyond the visible and step into the threshold of a new consciousness.

Presented at Mayen Gallery under the curatorship of Maureen Aracena, the exhibition explores the delicate balance between destruction and renewal, and the possibility of a collective awakening that reconnects us with nature, the spirit, and with one another.

Through a visionary aesthetic, Fruyt combines organic forms, archetypal symbols, and dreamlike landscapes to create true visual portals into alternative realities. Within them, harmony, reverence, and interconnection emerge as essential forces for a more conscious and compassionate future.

Each piece seems to whisper an invitation — to pause, to witness, to feel. The artist not only renders a spiritual imaginary but also proposes a sensory and emotional experience that confronts us with our own relationship to the Earth.

“The Sacred Change” stands as both reflection and promise: a mirror of our current condition and a luminous vision of what we might become if we restore our sacred bond with all living things.
