ARCOmadrid 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most vibrant events in contemporary art globally. With 214 galleries from 36 countries, Madrid will once again become the international capital of art. This year, the event will feature a unique mix of international galleries and a strong Spanish representation, with 33% of national participation, with 71 galleries. Of these, 46 come from Latin America, consolidating ARCO as a key bridge between Europe and Latin American art.
The General Programme will host renowned galleries such as Elba Benítez, ProjecteSD, and T20, while the international segment will be marked by names such as Thaddaeus Ropac, Perrotin and Max Hetzler. The fair will include three key curated sections:
Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazonian Futurism, which invites us to explore the relationship between art and nature through creators such as Carlos Jacanamijoy and Naine Terena; Opening. New Galleries, with fresh proposals from emerging galleries; and Profiles – Latin American Art, a unique look at the artistic production of the region through figures such as Bárbara Sánchez Kane and Chaveli Sifre.
In parallel, ArtsLibris will once again be the meeting point for independent publishers, with more than 80 editors from 20 countries.
ARCOmadrid 2025 promises to be a celebration of art at its best: risky, diverse, and deeply connected to the realities of the present.
