Art Madrid’25, the contemporary art fair taking place from March 5th to 9th at the Glass Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles, is ready to welcome over 200 artists and 34 galleries from around the world, making it an unmissable event! This year, in addition to showcasing the latest trends in contemporary art, the fair celebrates its 20th anniversary with a renewed visual identity and a clear focus on supporting artists and artistic creation.
One of the highlights of this edition is its new Patronage Program, which strengthens Art Madrid’s commitment to art and artists by offering key opportunities for their development. Through three significant awards, the fair not only supports the visibility of creators but also promotes the growth of collecting in the current art scene:
Acquisition Awards
Three entities: Colección Studiolo, Colección E2IN2, and Devesa Law, have come together to acquire works from the artists present at the fair, contributing not only to the dissemination of art but also to the growth of artists and the collecting ecosystem. The acquired works will become part of major private collections, ensuring their preservation and visibility.
Emerging Artist Award
Supporting young talent is at the heart of Art Madrid’25. The Emerging Artist Award, sponsored by One Shot Hotels, will grant a cash prize to an artist recognized for their innovative proposal, providing the necessary boost to continue their professional development.
Residency Award
Alongside DOM Art Residence, Art Madrid offers an artistic residency in Sorrento, Italy. This residency program will allow 12 artists to enjoy a month of accommodation, materials, and training, facilitating their creative and professional development.
With over 200 artists participating in this edition, Art Madrid’25 becomes a platform that not only highlights established creators but also gives visibility to young talents making their debut at the fair this year. The combination of emerging and established artists creates a unique experience for visitors, with proposals ranging from painting and sculpture to installations and digital art.
This year, Art Madrid’25 also embraces a diversity of proposals through its Parallel Program. Under the concept of *Territorio Ciudad*, activities such as performances, curated tours, and immersive experiences have been designed to connect art with the urban environment of Madrid. This makes the fair more accessible and dynamic, inviting new audiences to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art.
20 Years of Contemporary Art
Art Madrid celebrates two decades of art, reaffirming its position as a leading event in the art market. The fair has evolved over time, adapting to new trends and expanding its international reach, while always maintaining its essence: promoting contemporary art and directly supporting artists.
If you are a lover of contemporary art, don’t miss Art Madrid’25. In addition to exploring the latest artistic trends, you’ll have the opportunity to discover and support new talents, participate in immersive experiences, and enjoy an event that will undoubtedly make history during its 20th anniversary.
