Until September 14, PHotoESPAÑA presents over 100 exhibitions, new venues, feminist voices, emerging talent, and a powerful message: photography is not decoration — it is a political act.
Under the theme “After Everything,” the festival transforms Madrid into a visual platform for resistance and memory. This year, Chile is the guest country, represented by two key artists: Lotty Rosenfeld and Julia Toro, both icons of art as dissent.
Also featured are major exhibitions dedicated to Dora Maar and Ayana V. Jackson, who revisit the photographic archive through critical, feminist, and decolonial perspectives.
In addition, PHotoESPAÑA PRO supports 30 emerging talents through a program that connects creative work with the industry — without compromising on vision or commitment.
